November 14, 2008— The Puget Sound Business Journal featured Hunnex & Shoemaker, Inc. for winning a PLU Family Business Award.
The article outlined the growth of our firm over three decades. Founder Jim Hunnex and his wife Joyce started the company in 1977. In 1990, they hired Larry Shoemaker, who is now vice president and part owner. Later their two sons, Tyler and Josh, joined the company. Today we serve approximately 225 companies and their employees.
